INGREDIENTS
- 1 lime
- 100 g green peas
- 25 g chopped cashew nuts
- deep fry oil
- 500 g Potatoes
- 500 g wheat flour
- 50 ml ghee
- 5 g Carom seeds
- Water
- 5 g cumin seeds
- 3 g red chili powder
- 10 g ginger
- 10 g Garlic
- 5 g fennel seeds
- 5 g garam masala
- 5 g Turmeric powder
- 10 g green chilies
- 10 g chaat masala powder
- 10 g coriander leaves
INSTRUCTIONS
- The first step is to peel your potatoes and then put them in boiling water until they are soft to the touch. Afterwards, it’s time for you to mash them.
- After you’ve dealt with the potatoes, then it’s time for you to chop up the coriander leaves, green chilies, garlic, and ginger.
- Now it’s Time to Mix the Ingredients Except water for Your Dough. After You have mixed, then it’s time for you to set this mixture aside for 10 minutes.
- Now it’s time for you to divide the dough into round portions depending on how many Samosas you want to create.
- Heat up your Ghee and then add in some cumin. Once this mixture starts cracking, then you want to add garlic and begin to sauté.
- After this then keep adding the rest of your ingredients except your Cashew nuts, Garam Masala, Fennel Seeds and Chaat Masala Powder and then sauté for 5 minutes. Add your ingredients with the potatoes and mix well.
- Roll and cut the dough into two semi-circles. Apply water on the straight edge of the semi-circle Then fold each of them and until they are together. Seal the edges forming triangular pockets.
- Stuff your potato mixture then seal it all up and move on to the rest of them.
- Deep fry in oil until it is brown and after it is finished then serve it with tamarind chutney or mint.
